The Trinks preformer is used to compact free-flowing, bulk-molding material into a cylindrical shape or preform. Preforms can be efficiently heated, easily handled, and loaded into a transfer molding press. Consistency and uniformity of size and weight are key to an optimum molding process. Our preformer achieves this to a very high degree.
A variety of die and punch sizes are available. Coupled with an adjustable die height, this allows you to dial in the system to the size and volume best-suited to your molding process.
