Our Story

Trinks Inc. began in 1935 with a simple idea: build reliable, hardworking equipment that helps manufacturers do more. Over the years, that idea grew into a legacy of engineering expertise, innovation, and customer-focused service. Today, we design and build custom hydraulic and electric press systems that support modern manufacturing around the world.

As a result, our team combines decades of craftsmanship with advanced technology to deliver equipment that lasts. We provide solutions that perform and a team that stands behind every press we build.

Fun Fact: Some of our original presses from the 1940s and 1950s are still running today, a testament to the durability that continues to define our equipment.

Our Timeline

1935 — The Beginning
Trinks Inc. began as the Plastics Machinery Division of The C.A. Lawton Company in De Pere, Wisconsin. This early foundation sparked nearly a century of molding innovation.

2007 — Rebranding as LMG
After acquiring the Lawton Machinery Division, the company rebranded to LMG. During this period, we advanced our focus on American-made press manufacturing and continued to grow our engineering capabilities.

2015 — Red Stag Engineering Acquisition
With the acquisition of Red Stag Engineering, Trinks Inc. expanded into metal forging, stamping, die carts, and die splitters. As a result, our capabilities broadened across industrial manufacturing.

2019 — Hull Industries Joins Trinks Inc.
We welcomed Hull Industries, a company with more than 65 years of experience in thermoplastic and composite molding. In addition, this expanded our offerings to include hot platen, infrared, and two-stage injection/compression technology.

2025 — Today
Now globally recognized for precision-built press systems, Trinks Inc. continues to deliver custom, performance-driven solutions across automotive, aerospace, medical, defense, energy, and more.
